December total: 1,734 pages
2009 total: 16,514 pages

Ahhhh. Thanks in part to some vacation reading, I topped 15,000 pages read for the year. This involved finally finishing Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk, which I'd been reading in small bits for around two years, and borrowing Galactic Patrol and Gray Lensman from the library, the first time I've borrwed something from my local library in a long while.

On to 2010. Maybe this year I'll tackle The Brothers Karamazov. Maybe I'll dredge up some more classic (or not-so) science fiction. Maybe there'll be some more "classic" literature. Maybe there'll be some more run-of-the-mill fantasy.

And maybe this will be the year I finally pick back up, push through, and finish L'Morte d'Arthur, vol. 1, after putting it down for what's been a 20-year-plus hiatus so far. (That's the only book I know of that I've started reading by choice that I just couldn't finish--which is saying something, given the tedium & schlock I have made it through over the years.)
